Sorry, this contest is closed

As you might be aware, we are currently working on a World Wide Sparks Tribute CD, called "Amateur Hour".
Release date is set to March 1999.

You can get this CD for free, but...

If you are a regular visitor of this website, you might have noticed that this website is not complete yet, we're still missing 29 (out of 281 - still a mighty 10.32 percent - but: almost only unofficial stuff or collaborations...) of all (known) lyrics ever written by Ron and/or Russell Mael - however it seems that all this unknown stuff is even growing... (full details on the bottom of the "Propaganda" homepage).

For those who (also) think that this is an unbearable situation: we will give away ten (yes: 10 !) CD's of the forthcoming "Amateur Hour" CD to those who deliver us the most missing lyrics (yes, this is a contest !!!) !!!!!

Only one simple rule: email us the lyrics you want to decipher, so we can put it on the list - to prevent others to re-invent the wheel - and (of course...) send us the lyrics when you're done !

To anyone who have already sent us lyrics: we take these into account as well (so you have a slight advantage) !

This contest will close as soon as all lyrics are deciphered (will be tricky, as for some stuff we only know that it exists, but we've never heard it...), else: the day the "Amateur CD" comes from the press (probably end of March 1999), so you still have some time to listen things over - and over - and over again.

And don't forget: eternal fame will be your destiny !
